Grant-funded Training for Non-Profit Management on Cape Cod

August 30, 2018

In support of area non-profit organizations, The Center for Corporate and Professional Education at Cape Cod Community College, The Moakley Center for Public Management at Suffolk University, and Bridgewater State University Cape Cod are partnering to offer a nonprofit strategic planning program at no cost to eligible non-profit leaders. Sponsored and funded by the Cape Cod Foundation and Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank Charitable Trust, the six-part training program begins October 3 and offers participants an opportunity to learn how to build and sustain high performance organizations through successful strategic planning.

“This Strategic Planning and Nonprofit Leadership Training Program is a practical, focused effort to assist nonprofit leaders in organizational growth and sustainability in our unique Cape Cod environment”, said Tammi Jacobsen, Director of Workforce Development and Training at Cape Cod Community College. Participants in this hands-on training program will learn how to build and sustain a high performance organization through an in-depth strategic planning process. In addition, a real world practicum component will be offered, working with our expert faculty through an on-site consultation.

Classes will be taught at convenient locations by faculty from each host institution, and faculty supported consulting sessions will take place on-site at each participant’s place of employment.

Although there is no cost for eligible participants, an application is required. The application deadline is September 21st. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and space is limited. Application information and program outlines are available at:
